Gigas DevStudio ("we", "us", or "our") developed and operates Local Board (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it.
Local Board does not collect or request personal information from users. We do not require users to provide their phone number, email address, password, or other personal identifying information.
The App only requires a temporary display name chosen by the user. This display name is used to identify the user within the local messaging session.
When using Local Board, you may choose a display name by which you want to appear to other users on the same Wi-Fi network.
You should avoid using sensitive or personally identifying information as your display name if you do not want other users on the local network to see it.
Local Board allows multiple devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network to exchange messages directly through the local network.
Messages may be temporarily stored locally on the devices involved in the messaging session so that the messaging functionality can operate.
Local Board does not upload messaging data to a cloud server or store messages on servers operated by Gigas DevStudio.
When the participating devices disconnect from the local Wi-Fi communication session, the temporary messaging data is removed and is no longer available through the App.
Local Board communicates between devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network. The messaging functionality is designed for local communication and does not require an internet-based messaging server.
Because messages are exchanged between devices on the same local network, users should only communicate with people and networks they trust.
Local Board does not request any device permissions from the user.
Local Board may temporarily store messaging data on the user's device while the local messaging session is active.
The App does not maintain a cloud database or remotely hosted storage for user messages.
Local Board does not use cloud servers to store or process user messages or personal information.
Your messages are intended to remain within the local Wi-Fi communication environment between participating devices.
Local Board does not use third-party SDKs or third-party services to collect, process, or share user information.
Local Board does not display advertisements and does not use advertising networks to collect information about users.
Local Board does not use third-party analytics or tracking services to track users or collect personal information.
We do not sell, rent, or share users' personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Since the App does not collect personal information or use cloud servers for messaging data, Gigas DevStudio does not have access to users' local messages through a remote server.
Local Board is intended for users aged 8 and above.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users. No account, email address, phone number, or other personal information is required to use the App.
We take reasonable measures to keep the App's data handling limited to the functionality necessary to provide local messaging.
However, no method of electronic communication or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should avoid sending sensitive or confidential information through the App.
You are not required to create an account or provide personal information to use Local Board.
You may choose any appropriate display name when using the App. You should avoid including personal or sensitive information in your display name or messages if you do not want that information to be visible to other users on the local network.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App or applicable requirements. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
